To honor Friday the 13th, Solunar Records recording artist Blood of the Beloved dropped a remastered version of their debut album Advocatus Diaboli(The Dead Master). Taking it back from the beginning with some special touches, this album reintroduces us to the artist showing them as a force to be recognized.
Featuring 16 tracks, this album does not hold back on the brutality. There is a variety of styles of thrash metal, trap metal, and just endless riffs. The vocal style drips with venom and transitions from guttural growls to fast rapping. There is spooky vibes throughout, and it is like we are exploring a soundtrack from the nearest hell dimension.
Some of my favorite tracks are ‘I am Hell”, “I Saw The Devil, “Stigmata”, and “Wither”. The highlight is the final track called “The Conjuring Cypher”.
With the new remastered sound, this album sounds more crisp and will induce the listener to head bang at any given moment. This is the type of music that will encourage you to slam in the pit. Metalheads will definitely enjoy this. Plus the horror elements add that special touch.
