Deathcember(Happy Horrordays #13)(Review)[Terrifying Theatrical Tuesday]

This is less of a review, more as a warning to avoid Deathcember at all costs. I suffered through it, and after two hours, I needed a palate cleanse. Yes, it was that bad.

So the concept is based on the Advent Calendar, but instead of getting candy for 24 days, you get 24 different horror shorts. Not all of them are terrible, but that saying of having to wade through garbage to find treasure definitely applies.

My initial impression is the movie would be something along the lines of ABC’s of Death, but the opening which looks like computer graphics from the 90s should have been my first clue this was not the case. I give you examples of the shorts that were actually decent such as the one with store clerk dealing with the worst Karen ever that or one with a boy who is being abused by his father, and writes a letter to Santa, who seems to grant anything the boy asks for. Most of the movie will leave you feeling very confused or just have your eye twitching from the stupidity that you witnessed. You can tell this was produced on a small budget but that has no bearing on how bad this movie turned out to be.

Take it from me, this is not worth the two hours you will lose when watching it. If you really want to torture myself like I did, it is streaming on Peacock. If you are one of those unlucky souls who seen Deathcember, leave your thoughts below!

Till next time, stay scared!
