Natty Knocks(Happy Halloween #18)(Review)

Its Halloween month, and you know what that means! Horror movies that fit that Halloween vibe like a glove, and Natty Knocks has that much at least.

The story takes place in the days before Halloween when a babysitter and the a group of kids discover a killer and try to stop him, only to end up as his next targets. Now they must protect themselves before they become his next victims

Let’s just say everything that happens in this film is due to some very annoying dumb kids. They go and poke the bear, causing themselves to be in the situation they are in. What does help this movie is the star power of horror legends such as Robert Englund and Bill Moseley.

Moseley makes for the perfect villian just being his normal demented self. There are scenes where he just sits there, being creepy in facepaint as he watches grindhouse style films. There’s a bit of a backstory behind his character along with the urban legend about a woman named Natty Knocks. It won’t take long to figure out the connection that exists there.

What starts as a slasher then eventually gets a supernatural element to it. The ending really goes into that direction when the kids and the babysitter fight to survive the night.

This is an average Halloween horror, pretty predictable. The kills that do happen are bloody and brutal at times. Otherwise this is your standard fare. If you want to check it out, it’s currently streaming on Tubi.
